The mitosis poem

I was a cell stuck in
Interphase doing alright
Then I divided myself
Overnight.
Now i've got two sets of
Chromosomes that make
Up life.
So much to grow
And see!
Hopped into prophase
With chromatin ti
Squeeze.
Then got mitotic spindles
Prepped with ease.
Lined up at the equator
Metaphasing ready to be.
I'm so excited to cleave.
But Anaphase first!
I'm gonna roll the
Chromatids out to the
Polls.
Cytokinesis!
Split them away we're
Making more cells every
Day.
Mitosis.
It's gonna be our time.
Mitosis.
Identical daughter cells
from mitosis.
